investigation which will be done by an officer from the Commission. If none of the parties is willing to accept the initial recommendation, the case will be forwarded to be heard by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. This comes with 14-day advance notice to both parties.
All the hearing and the submission of relevant evidence is completed, the Commission will give a verdict which can not be appealed any further.
AGCC Scandal!
One of Alderney’s licensees, Full Tilt Poker, was busted in 2011 for using player funds to run the casino activities and did not have sufficient funds to cover the players payouts. This is against the rules and regulations of the Commission and it was punishable by withdrawing the license.
