The Epic Journey is a Quickspin video slot inspired by Jules Verne’s “Journey to the Centre of the Earth,” played across three separate 5-reel, 3-row boards stacked together for a combined 100 paylines. Bonus mechanics run through a volcano feature, a fossil hunt and a Wild-heavy safari free spins round.

Instead of one reel set, The Epic Journey runs three 5×3 boards side by side, all sharing the same 100 paylines, so a single spin evaluates far more symbol combinations than a standard slot. The Volcano feature can turn eruption symbols into extra wilds, a Fossil Hunt pick bonus offers instant prizes, and landing Drill scatters triggers a Wild-heavy Safari Free Spins round across all three boards at once. The adventure-serial theme, pith helmets, dinosaur bones and drill rigs included, gives the mechanic-heavy design a clear visual identity.
Pros
- 100 paylines across three simultaneous boards means far more ways to win per spin
- Multiple distinct bonus mechanics (Volcano, Fossil Hunt, Safari Free Spins) keep the game varied
- Solid 96.6% RTP with approachable medium volatility
- Distinctive triple-board format not found on most other Quickspin titles
Cons
- Max win figures conflict across sources, so we’re not printing an unconfirmed number here
- Three simultaneous boards can make the reel action visually busy
- Higher min/max bet range than a typical single-board Quickspin slot
