Sticky Bandits is a Wild West train-heist slot from Quickspin, the first entry in the series, played on a 5-reel, 5-row grid with 30 fixed paylines. Massive Wild symbols that lock in place for a bonus round define the game, backed by an Achievements Engine that hands out tokens for in-game challenges.

Massive Wild symbols appear on reels 2 and 4, expanding to cover the reel positions to their right and acting as both a wild and a bonus trigger. The free spins round activates when a Bonus symbol lands anywhere on reel 1 while a Wild symbol sits on reel 2 or reel 4, awarding seven free spins. Any position that was wild at the moment the bonus triggered stays locked as a wild for the entire bonus round, stacking extra coverage on top of the 30 fixed paylines across the tall 5×5 grid.
Pros
- Massive Wilds on a 5×5 grid create unusually wide winning combinations
- Locked wilds during the free spins round guarantee coverage for the whole bonus
- 96.58% RTP is solidly above average for a high-volatility slot
- Achievements Engine adds a side progression layer beyond the base paytable
Cons
- High volatility means the bonus trigger condition (bonus on reel 1, wild on reel 2 or 4) can be slow to line up
- 739x max win is modest next to the series’ later sequels
- Only 30 fixed paylines despite the taller 5-row grid
